Apple & Spice - Herb Tea

Apple & Spice - Herb Tea

ingredients: cinnamon, hibiscus, chamomile, citrus peel, rosehips, apple, licorice, allspice, natural flavors

subjective analysis:
It's difficult for me to give a definitive rating on this tea because although it's alright, it's not great or especially good. Generally blah. *cough* *L* The taste is fruity/juicy, but not fruity/juicy enough, and the flavor is heavier on the cinnamon than needs be, which is a problem with a lot of the Good Earth teas that have spices in them. This tea would be best if brewed at double strength, sweetened with unrefined sugar, and served chilled. Or you can forget this tea and just steep loose chamomile tea with finely chopped apple pieces and a whole cinnamon stick, then spray some fresh lemon juice into the resulting infusion. Of course, if you do that, you should strain the infusion first, but far be it from me to remind you of the obvious. *L* Rating: ambivalent
