Orange Spice - Herb Tea

Orange Spice - Herb Tea

ingredients: orange peel, masai, cloves, and other herbs, spices, natural flavors

subjective analysis:
Talk about a miss. *L* I'm sorry, but this tea was just... urgh. Aside from a vague hint of citrus peel (and it was the near-flavorless, slightly bitter part of the peel at that :p) the only flavor I could discern in this tea was the overpowering odor of excessive cinnamon and clove. Interesting, since cinnamon wasn't listed as an ingredient (the ingredients list does mention other herbs and spices, so that's probably where the cinnamon comes from). In any case, this tea was supposed to be "orange spice" but it ended up being just "too much spice." If you really want orange spice tea, save a bunch of peels after eating the oranges, boil the peels with just a *bit* of spices (clove, nutmeg, and/or even vanilla - take your pick), and flavor with orange blossom honey. That's the way I'd drink it, at least. *g* Rating: a miss
