As I mentioned on the previous page, all .wav files at Echoes are created by myself, Ganymede (James Sanghyun Han), and you MUST e-mail me and ASK MY PERMISSION first before using any on your own websites or sound archives. I will then reply and tell you exactly what .wavs you may take and what .wavs you may not (98% are take-able). :)

P.S. If you have trouble downloading the larger .wav's even after repeated tries or if they do not play properly on your computer, let me know.

And now, on with the sounds! Using basic in/out cables, these sounds were recorded from the VCR onto a stereo and then onto my computer. They were transferred to my computer at the second highest quality on Macintosh's SimpleSound program, trimmed and edited using MoviePlayer, and then converted into .wav files using SoundApp. Unfortunately you will hear a buzzing noise in some of the quieter sound files depending on what speakers or headphones you are using, and since I have no compression capabilities these files are rather large in size, even the files that are only a few seconds long. For that I apologize, but the sound quality is worth it, and I do not have a program that can compress or "clean" the .wav files for me. If you know how I can make these files a lot smaller without reducing quality, do let me know.

WARNING - There are many spoilers here translating and explaining what is going on in the sounds.

P.S. Being an obsessive fan of Mitsuru and Shinobu, I went through all of Episode 5 and every time Shinobu and Mitsuru opened their mouths, I recorded what they said. :P Therefore, I am missing NO Mitsuru and Shinobu sounds from Episode 5 and I have recorded ALL their words. :P

"Genki nai ne, Suka-chan." - 628K
Mitsuru, Shinobu, and Shun catch Kazuya feeling depressed, and Mitsuru forces him to tell them about it by threatening to throw his bookbag into the water. ^.^

"S- Sou ka." - 266K
Mitsuru says "sou ka" ("I see" ^.^) after Kazuya tells him he can't get Igarashi Miya out of his mind. o_O; Again, I'm going by the official subtitled translations in these descriptions.

"Igarashi!" - 108K
Mitsuru shouts at Miya.

"Yamete yi ni kaere!" - 729K - EDITED
Mitsuru talks to Miya and tells her to go home; he then is about to ask her why she came to him for help when she already had somebody, but Kazuya interrupts them.

"Damatero." - 440K - EDITED
Mitsuru asks Kazuya how he's going to get Miya into the dorm without the dorm lady noticing, and how they're going to keep "two hundred bloodthirsty wolves" o_o away from Miya.

"Sumi masen ne." o.o;;; - 503K
Mitsuru and Kazuya argue over what to do about Miya; Mitsuru ends up giving in and lets Kazuya make the decisions.

"Ehh, kaeri mashita." ^.^ - 64K
Mitsuru apologizes to the dorm lady, saying that Miya went home.

"Jubun misemono nan da yo." - 90K
Miya shouts at the guys in the dorm for staring at her and Mitsuru slaps her upside the head. ^.^;;;

"Namae wa Igarashi Miya." - 487K
Mitsuru tells Shun about Miya; Shinobu (who's sleeping under a blanket that has a little duck design on it ^.^) tells him to be quiet when he gets too loud. Mitsuru then leaves, saying that Shun can use his bed.

"Dakara..." - 112K
Kazuya remembers what Mitsuru said to him when they were arguing earlier.

"Nerawarete irun da." - 734K - EDITED
Mitsuru tells Kazuya (who was guarding his doorway) to sleep in his room. He then tells Igarashi (who's inside Kazuya's room) that he's coming in, and he and Kazuya both enter. Mitsuru then tells Miya to explain to them what's going on, and Miya's response is: "They're after me." o_o;;; Mitsuru's reaction to that is: "Eh?" ^.^;

"Chotto matte!" - 216K
Mitsuru asks Miya if she really is a gang leader; she says that no, but the other girls in her school are spineless boy-chasers. o.O; Mitsuru then tells her to go on. ^.^

"Obakamono!" - 494K
Mitsuru bitches out Miya for letting other people get her into trouble. Even if he told her to go home and slapped her upside the head :P it's obvious from the way he talks here that he is concerned for her.

"Igarashi, benjo wa?" - 677K
Mitsuru sighs, and after a pause he asks Miya if she needs to use the bathroom. The scene then cuts to Mitsuru and Kazuya sitting outside the bathroom door (presumably to keep guys from going in while Miya's in there), and Mitsuru says that Miya must act the way she does because of her boyfriend.

"Nan da?" o_o - 19K
Shinobu saying "Nan da?" ("What is it?") to Shun.

"Shinji rare nai yo na..." - 1.17MB
One of my favorite scenes. ^^; Shinobu tells Shun about how affectionate Mitsuru's family is, and then goes on to tell Shun that Mitsuru was adopted, found on the Ikedas' temple grounds the day his little brother Masato was born. Shinobu then comments on how remarkable it was that Mitsuru grew up to be so strong, and then the scene changes to show Mitsuru sleeping under the table in the next room. Mitsuru sneezes as he lies there. ^.^;

*SNARK* "Uttoshi no." ^.^ - 285K
The next morning, Mitsuru has a cold, and in this .wav file he sniffs, except it sounds more like a snort. O.o;;; Shinobu comments on how annoying it is, and Mitsuru says "Well excuse me" ^.^ and then asks Kazuya if they should go.

"Wagata da, Igarathi?" o.O;;; - 408K
Mitsuru tells Miya what they should do during the day in order to work things out for her. This sound is SO funny cause Mitsuru sounds stuffed up throughout the whole thing and it's hard to understand him, as Kazuya points out. ^.^

"Baka nara koko ni iru zo." - 245K
Shinobu gives Kazuya a long-winded speech on Mitsuru's whereabouts. ^^;;;

"Sou ka." *CREAK* O_x - 592K
Mitsuru's still sick, and he sounds and looks tired as he talks to Miya. The funniest part about this sound is when Mitsuru says "Sou ka" and his body sort of tilts sideways from fatigue - there's this "woingy" creaking sort of noise that happens when his body tilts. ^^;

"Bakamono." ^.^ - 800K
When Kazuya tells the others that Miya is going to face the gang members alone, Mitsuru curses and goes to help her. Kazuya offers to go too, which causes Shinobu, Shun, and Mitsuru to go: "Bakamono." ("Stupid." :P) After Kazuya has a spazz about Mitsuru and Miya's safety, Shinobu asks Shun if there's a fax in Aoki and Sakaguchi's arcade center. When he says yes, Shinobu leaves to work his magic. :P

"Onna no ken..." - 81K
Mitsuru saying that he'd be embarrassed if word got out that he had been in a girls' fight. o.O;;;

"San nin ka?" - 365K
Mitsuru comments about how the other girls have guys fighting for them too, and then he curses to himself for being sick when there are three guys he has to deal with. That female voice you'll hear laughing hysterically in this sound is actually the voice of Fukami Rika, whom most anime fans know as the voice of Aino Minako from Sailormoon.

"Onee-sama!" - 23K
Yes Mitsuru, it's Shinobu's big sistah! o.O

Igarashi of Sumijo o_o - 311K
Mitsuru says that no one will mess with "Sumijo no Igarashi" for a while, seeing as she has hundreds of guys in her gang. o.x;;;

"Are, Ikeda-sempai!" - 749K
Actually, this sound file is mainly of Koizumi Tenma (Miya's boyfriend), but Mitsuru says a few words at the beginning of it, so here it is. :P Plus I just like the way Yamaguchi Kappei does Tenma's voice; most of you will know Yamaguchi as Saotome Ranma-kun from Ranma 1/2.

"Igarashi no otoko." - 228K
Shun asks who Tenma is, and Mitsuru says that he's Miya's boyfriend, and that they've always been "like that." o_o Mitsuru says that he didn't want to get involved in Miya's problems because she already had Tenma.
