Oh my. Can we say rip-off of Andrew Lloyd Webber's version of Phantom of the Opera? *L* Don't get me wrong, I love this song VERY much (though Iwata-sama could have sung better in my opinion), but when I first heard it as an .mp3 file I expected Shinobu to jump out of my closet wearing a white mask over half his face. ^^ This song is very likeable, with a catchy "Russian" theme, a rather attention-getting beginning, and an undulating, tight melody. I love Seki and Sakamoto's voices in this, and Sasaki and Iwata aren't bad either. It starts out grand and organ-like, and it then settles into a haunting, fast-paced, drivingly intense song that switches off from one voice actor to another. Great work, and a great example of the mix of classical and modern styles that anime music does so well.
