Guys! Men! Boys! Anything Slightly Male! :P

As I said on the previous page, I'm gay. What I mean by that is that even if I was stuck on an island with a thousand women and no men for twenty years, I'd rather use my hand. :p

Uhh... yes. WELL THEN! XD This site is basically just a listing of my favorite cute guys, be they musicians, actors, other minor or major celebrities, etc. Under the name of each guy I've written a short blurb about who they are and why I like them, and I've also added pictures of the dudes :p wherever possible (many of the pictures aren't very good, which I have to apologize for - I have better images of many of the guys on video, but I can't capture them). At the very bottom of this page are links to a few random pictures of guys that I just happen to like.

Please note that the guys are listed in order (approximately) of the ones I like the most to the ones I like the least, and that when I'm talking about a Japanese guy I've put his last name first. Also, if you're wondering why I mention the zodiac signs of the guys I'm talking about, it's because I usually fall for water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) guys. :p

Morikubo Shoutarou:

To see why I like Morikubo Shoutarou (born on 25 February; a Pisces with B type blood) and to find more/better pictures of him, please check out the gallery I've made for him at Have You Seen This Seiyuu? - my website dedicated to Japanese voice actors.

Bruno Eyron (Bruno Eierund):

I first saw German actor Bruno Eyron (born on 4 November 1963; a Scorpio) in Space Island One, a really cool sci-fi show (produced through a collaboration between the United Kingdom and the European Union) that aired on my local PBS station. The show was about seven scientists/engineers living on the first space station in near-Earth orbit; it dealt with the conflict/drama between each person, between the scientists and administration, between scientific integrity and corporate gain, etc. Very cool show! Bruno Eyron played Dusan Kashkavian, the super-smart Russian engineer who was cool/reserved/passionate/mysterious/perfectionist - very much in character with Eyron's own Scorpio self. Bruno likes tennis (like me! XD) and can speak German, English, and French. A very sexy guy!

Okiayu Ryoutarou:

To see why I like Okiayu Ryoutarou (born on 17 November 1969; a Scorpio with Moon in Pisces, with O type blood) and to find some sound files of his voice as well as more/better pictures, please check out the gallery I've made for him at Have You Seen This Seiyuu? - my website dedicated to Japanese voice actors.

(a small black-and-white pic of Okiayu)

Koyasu Takehito:

To see why I like Koyasu Takehito (born on 5 May 1967; a Taurus with A type blood) and to find more/better pictures of him, please check out the gallery I've made for him at Have You Seen This Seiyuu? - my website dedicated to Japanese voice actors.

Rudolf Nureyev:

Rudolf/Rudolph Nureyev (a Pisces :p) was born on 17 March 1938 and unfortunately died of AIDS in 1993. Besides being one of the world's greatest ballet dancers (in my opinion) and later, a talented choreographer and director, he was extremely gorgeous. XD

Nureyev abdicated from Russia during a time when it was still a big deal to do so - especially since he was such a famous personage. Openly gay at a time when that was not exactly the safest thing to be open about, Nureyev spoke bluntly about how he'd been in relationships with women but definitely preferred men much more. My kind of guy. :p

That's all I have to say about Nureyev, as what little I know of him comes from watching PBS documentaries. ;> It's a shame that such a beautiful, artistic person died so early. (Don't ask me what Miss Piggy's doing in the picture, by the way. -_-)

Leonard Whiting:

The best movie version of Romeo and Juliet I ever saw was the 1968 version directed by Franco Zefirelli, starring Leonard Whiting as Romeo and Olivia Hussey as Juliet. You probably watched this movie in high school English - if so, you may have seen the edited version, which doesn't have the nice shot of Romeo's butt (GET the unedited version :P) and the shot of Juliet's breast.

Whiting, who was born in the U.K. on 30 June 1950 (he's a Cancer), left an immediate impression on me when I first watched Romeo and Juliet. Keep in mind that he was only eighteen and Olivia Hussey was only fourteen when they starred in the movie; yet their acting was SO superb that they both seemed as if they had been acting for years. This movie should be a classic everyone knows, but in my experience very few people (like those few who remember things like what they did in high school English :p) know about it, which is why I'm ranting about it now.

But yeah, that's about it. Leonard Whiting's great! :p He's gorgeous! He acts well! Watch the movie! :P

Chris Kratt:

You may have heard of Kratt's Creatures, a children's nature show hosted by the Kratt brothers (Chris and Martin) on PBS. (There are two Kratt sisters, but they don't have a nature show. :p) I can just imagine what you're thinking, Ganymede watches kiddie shows, ;> but come on, I have a brother ten years younger than me and I used to watch these shows with him. :p Besides, Chris is hot! XD

(The Kratt brothers also made a PBS nature show for very young kids called Zaboomafoo but it was nowhere near as educational or as interesting as Kratt's Creatures. If I recall right they have a new show in the works which is going to be more like the original Kratt's Creatures, which is great!)

What really gets me about Chris (born on 19 July 1969 - Cancer) is that he's very charismatic in a happy/bouncy, "wide-eyed" way, with a vitality that's infectious and endearing. Plus, he seems to be very close to his brother Martin (no, not in THAT way... but who knows! XD), and their interplay on the show is great to watch as well. I love PBS nature shows to begin with, and having a guy like Chris co-host one of them while running around in nature with his short shorts makes it all the more enjoyable. :p I especially like episodes where he goes shirtless or gets drenched with water... or climbs a tree with his short shorts. *cough* XD And he's the only person I know who actually looks GOOD in a disco suit! Don't ask. *rofl*

Besides being cute, Chris Kratt is a New Jersey native and a Bio major from Carleton College, and he's studied chimpanzee language and tool usage.

(Chris Kratt getting some pachydermal affection :p)
(is Chris naked!? too bad that damn barrel is blocking the view XD)
(Martin to the left and Chris to the right, with "Zaboo" between them xp)

Robert Conrad:

Robert Conrad starred as leading man James West in the 1960's American show The Wild, Wild West (which the Will Smith movie of the same name is based on). The show was a mix of western, sci-fi, and mystery, and the interplay/chemistry between Robert Conrad and Ross Martin (who played James West's colleague and best friend Artemus Gordon) was one of the main highlights of the show. I discovered this show on a local station in the summer of 1997 and I was immediately hooked by Robert Conrad's looks and build (and the perpetually skintight pants he wore), and the generally high quality of the show itself, especially the earlier black-and-white episodes.

Robert Conrad (a Pisces with Leo Rising and Moon in Capricorn) has aged incredibly well: I saw a recent picture of him shirtless and though he was well over sixty he still had the body and face that he had during The Wild, Wild West - the only change was that his hair was now white. And I know that he's modeled for men's "physique" magazines - kinda makes you wonder which way he leans, doesn't it? XD

Conrad has acted in various other movies and series, but he's best known for The Wild, Wild West, and with good reason.

Barret Oliver:

Okay, if you've seen the image to the left, don't go screaming that "Ganymede is a pedophile!" When I got my crush on Barret Oliver, he was fourteen (as seen in the image to the left) and I was about ten. So there! :p

In fourth grade, I picked up the book The Secret Garden, and it immediately became my favorite book, with Dickon as my favorite character (Dickon was the Yorkshire nature boy who talked to animals and helped Mary with her garden). In fact, I got a crush on the character of Dickon, and I started having odd dreams of going to a mansion and searching for him so I could kiss him and tell him I liked him (how precocious of me :P). One of the saddest dreams I had was when I found him dead under a tree near a railroad track. :O *rofl* Nice dream for a kid, eh? XD

In any case, Barret Oliver (a Leo/Virgo cusp, if I recall correctly) was a rather well-known "child actor" in the 1980s who later deliberately disappeared into obscurity (it's rumored he went to U.C. Berkeley). During the late 1980s he starred as Dickon in one of his last movies, the Hallmark Hall of Fame version of The Secret Garden (the image to the left is from that movie).

When I first saw that movie - which also starred Derek Jacobi, by the way! - I immediately fell in love with Dickon, Barret Oliver, and Barret Oliver's acting. I still have the movie on tape from when I recorded it off the television two years after I first saw it, and I still love it 'cause it was very well done - even if the book is of course ten times better. :p

Paul McCartney:

When I was sixteen and seventeen, Paul McCartney (the YOUNG Paul, not Paul as he is today :p) would have been the first guy on this list; however, the guys above have replaced him. ;> I still like him though (mainly for sentimental reasons), so for a bunch of pretty pictures and a long essay on why I like Paul McCartney, please visit my cheesy site to him: Push Paul Out First.

A very cute image of a guy in a bathtub kissing a rubber duckie. I scanned this off a postcard done by the 10% Company.

*** love.jpg
A picture I got off the 10% website of two guys in the nude, kissing. Don't worry, it's tastefully done and you can't see anything. XD

And that's all for now! :P
