The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.

Section 1: General Characteristics

Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).

Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.

Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.

It is very difficult for you to be objective, detached, or to view a situation from anyone else's point of view - your own feelings and personal experiences color your judgment too much. Though you may sympathize or feel for someone, you may in fact not really understand where they are coming from.

You need to develop the ability to stand back and reflect on life, to analyze a situation logically. Also, it's very important for you to learn to communicate. Because you sense and feel so much, you may expect others to know what you are experiencing without telling them anything. Section 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others

The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.

You have a sensible and realistic outlook on life and your two feet are always planted firmly on the ground (though you may, on occasion, have your head in the clouds). Others often see you as a rock of strength, solid, reliable, dependable, and constant. You are, in fact, amazingly consistent for you possess great powers of endurance and do not like to make changes or adjustments in your regular routine. Behind your rather calm and solid appearance (as described in the previous chapter), there is a much more passionate, tumultuous, emotionally complex person (described below). You may sometimes feel torn between maintaining the status quo and a craving for intensity in your relationships.

Quiet, deep, emotionally complex and intensely private, you are not a person who is easy to get to know and understand. You are extremely sensitive but disinclined to show it, and you allow only a special few into your inner world. Like a wary animal, you are cautious and mistrustful of those you do not know until you "sniff them out." You are very, very instinctive and intuitive. Section 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group

In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.

The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.

The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.

The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group

You are part of a 12 year group of people who are deeply interested in personal relationships. Your age group has a deeply-rooted yearning to see people relating and communicating with each other effectively and harmoniously. There is little egotism and a willingness to hear the other person's side of the story and a readiness to compromise and arbitrate different points of view. In fact, the need for harmonious, peaceful relationships is so strong that there is a tendency to overlook real differences and to focus only on the similarities in an attempt to bring different parties into harmony with each other.

Interest in psychology and sociology is high in your age group. There is a tremendous heightening of awareness of social skills. Your age group will experiment with different marriage styles, family relationships, and even business relationships in an attempt to bring fair treatment and effective communication between people. Interest and appreciation for other cultures is also strong, and your age group will work hard to preserve and support the cultural heritage of all ethnic groups.

Your strong yearning for equitable and harmonious relationships is also reflected in major advancements in trade agreements, arms control, and international cooperation that are designed and implemented by your generation. These agreements and policies foster a much safer and more cooperative environment for all, although there is also a tendency for greedy individuals to take advantage of the conciliatory atmosphere and twist situations to their own ends.

In short, you are part of a generation of individuals who are deeply interested in other people; you are a humanistic and humanitarian group. You will struggle and experiment with personal relationships, and forge new models for how people can relate as friends, family members, and members of nations as well.

The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group

You are part of a 14 year group of people that are extremely idealistic and farsighted in their dreams. Your age group is very liberal and expansive in outlook, and consequently churches become much more flexible and more eclectic in their approach during your life time. Religions that do not adapt to the broad-minded attitude of your age group simply are unable to attract very much interest and involvement from you.

A great deal of metaphysical musing and speculation is evident in your age group, and there is a very strong interest in all manner of psychic phenomena, UFO's, prophecy, etc. This interest will open many new doors and insights, but will also often lead to a great deal of fantasizing and speculation that is taken more seriously than it should be.

The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the depths.

Introduction

This report is divided into two sections: the first one analyzes your personality with its multiple facets (Sun and Moon positions); and the second one analyzes the twelve astrological houses.

The Sun: Your essence. Your self.

Sun in Scorpio:

Sun in Scorpio:

Scorpio rules the reproductive organs, the rectum, and also the nose. You will have a passionate and intense life, full of extremes. You could have a preference for very seasoned, salty or hot foods. Also, drinking very hot or very cold beverages will contribute to irritations in your body. It is important for you to engage in physical activity consistently as a way of channeling your energies and emotions. Your internal fire may lead to an intense sexual life. Try to maintain good elimination of bodily wastes, including transpiration and evacuation.

To preserve good health, you must consider the following: eat a moderate diet with little seasoning; drink freshly squeezed fruit juices and plenty of mineral water; avoid alcoholic beverages and smoking; do not eat a lot before going to bed because it will produce nightmares; perform respiratory and relaxation exercises before sleeping; avoid sedatives or sleeping pills; control aggressiveness and anger; exercise forgiveness and avoid resentful or vengeful thoughts; practice energetic and competitive sports; keep an eye on your personal hygiene; seek contact with nature and, especially, with water; avoid red meat and coffee; sweat a lot and eat foods high in fiber that help in the elimination of body residues; learn mind-control exercises that help you channel your powerful thoughts in a positive and constructive manner.

Saturn in Virgo:

This astrological position can cause intestinal blockages, constipation, poor or slow peristaltic movement, colitis, diarrhea, and a poor enzymatic action in the liver. You must help your digestive-intestinal process by eating high fiber foods.

Libra on 6th house cusp:

Your short term health problems may be caused by excessive consumption of sugar and starches, or by the lack of vitamins E and P, niacin, copper and chromium. Your most common problems are: lumbago, suppression of urine, stones, renal problems, retention of liquids, etc.

To prevent these problems it is recommended that you add to your diet the following foods: mushrooms, watercress, carrots, alfalfa, soy and its derivatives, peaches, avocados, sunflower seeds, brown rice, wheat germ, raisins, peanut butter, etc. You must avoid sweets in general and drink plenty of pure mineral water.

Your long term health problems may be caused by the lack of amino acids, vitamin B-12, hydrochloric acid, adrenalin, vitamin F, cobalt, iron and phosphorous. This could cause headaches, fatigue, neuralgia, insomnia, vertigo, eye infections, toothaches, ear infections, etc.

It is recommended that you include in your diet the following: peas, spinach, asparagus, beets, celery, endives, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, onions, and white meat, especially fish. Some type of regular physical activity is advisable.

Sun in 6th house:

You may have problems with your energy and vitality. It is important that you do not neglect your diet and that you consume products rich in proteins and amino acids. Also, you must take care to get the necessary rest without having to sleep more than eight hours a day. Contact with the sun and fresh air will be beneficial for your general well-being.

Uranus in 6th house:

You may have problems related to the electrical responses of the body, such as spasms, palpitations, nervousness, and inconsistent physical reactions. It is important that you dissipate nervous tension through relaxation and meditation exercises. Your physical problems may appear suddenly and unexpectedly.

Pluto in 6th house:

You may have ailments that are difficult to diagnose, related to hereditary or genetic problems, to the degeneration of the cells, or to a decrease or deficiency in the immune system. This star is associated with deep and inconsistent changes in life, with intense emotions and also with aggressiveness. If negative emotions are not released or changed physical problems will appear. The intensity of your diseases depends upon the degree of realization in your life: the fewer frustrations and resentments, the better your health will be.

To have in mind: many of your emotional unbalances are not produced by external situations or experiences but by blood disorders. The lack of some nutrients or intoxication or other excesses, can often cause changes in your system and lead to depression, anguish, fatigue or aggressiveness. Because of that, if you want to be happy, do not neglect your body--give it the best nutrition possible.

Uranus in 6th house:

You need to work where you feel free and have the ability to organize your own time. You tend to work to exhaustion, which could affect your health.
