Yaten Kou - Opinion Piece
| Opinion on Yaten Kou Frankly, I haven't seen enough of the Starlights to have an extremely concrete opinion on any of them; I like the Outer Senshi the best and after that I like the Inner Senshi about the same as I do the Starlights. Of the Starlights themselves, I like Yaten the best, partly because I think Yaten's the cutest/prettiest, but mainly because I adore Yaten's voice actor, Sakamoto Chika. Sakamoto is an amazing voice actor and singer who is best known for doing the voices of femme boys like Yaten, as well as Kisaragi Shun of Koko wa Green Wood and Nuriko of Fushigi Yuugi. Aside from his/her/its voice and looks, however, there isn't much I like about Yaten - his character is way too... abrasive. ^^;;; Opinion on Yaten's Transformations and Attacks I really don't like any of the Starlights' transformation sequences, even if the music for them is great. And no, I don't dislike the sequences cause they change from boys to girls; :p what I dislike is that in my opinion the sequences themselves aren't as nicely done as the Inner Senshi's transformations, and they don't even come close to the Outer Senshi's sequences. As for Sailor Starhealer's attack ("star sensitive inferno"), it didn't impress me that much, but I do like it the best out of all the Starlights' attacks, and there's the added bonus that it's Sakamoto Chika who's shouting the attack phrase. ^_~ |
